How we use personal information & lawful basis

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we rely on your consent to collect and process personal information — both contact data you supply directly and analytics or advertising cookies set via your browser. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@7days.property, or for cookies, by reopening the preferences panel via the cookie icon in the bottom corner of every page.

Most data is provided directly by you so that we can keep you informed about our services. We do not sell or share personal data with any third party for their own purposes.

How we store your personal information

We store contact details securely on our internal systems. Email addresses supplied for updates or enquiries are retained for three months. If no further communication is required, we remove your details from our contact list.

Cookies and tracking

By default we set no analytics or advertising cookies. Both Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking are blocked on first load via Google Consent Mode v2 and only activate if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, or enable a category in .

Necessary: We set no functional cookies ourselves. Our domain is forwarded through GoDaddy, which writes a single _tccl_visitor cookie at infrastructure level before the page loads. This is outside our control and we are working to remove it.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (property G-9W3E3C6V9X) — aggregate, anonymised traffic measurement so we can see which pages are useful. Sets _ga, _gid and similar cookies only after you opt in. IP addresses are anonymised; no advertising features are enabled. Data processed by Google in line with their privacy terms.
Marketing: Google Ads conversion tracking — a limited deployment so we can tell which campaigns brought a visitor to the site. Sets _gcl_* cookies only after you opt in. We do not run remarketing, audience profiling or cross-site tracking, and no data is sold.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal we honour it as a refusal of analytics and marketing cookies.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law you have rights including:

Right of access – request copies of your personal information.
Right to rectification – ask us to correct or complete data you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
Right to erasure – ask us to erase your information in certain circumstances.
Right to restrict processing – request limits on how we use your information.
Right to object – object to processing in certain situations.
Right to data portability – request that the data you provided be transferred to another organisation or to you.

You will not be charged for exercising your rights. We aim to respond within one month to any request submitted via admin@7days.property.
